I see it differently.
Political parties just can't create decent messaging. Maybe they have too much else on their plates. The GOP has had a vast deep pocketed intercoordinated network for decades, doing their messaging & many other functions. Dems haven't. And it shows. The GOP repeats the messages-- & follows the strategies--developed by Right Wing media and "think" tanks-- AKA {propaganda & GOP strategy tanks.}
Another aspect of this is that the GOP has successfully bullied Dems into submission over decades through the muscles of Right Wing media, Right Wingers in mainstream media & Right Wingers in the business community and in private GOP infrastructure organizations.. Trying t appease and compromise with the bullies is a decades long habit in the Democrtic party's geriatric leadership.
I don't know if you've had any habits for decades on end. But if you do, try and change them. If you're like most people, you'll find that's no easy feat.
